Peter Pan (NZ): a turf legend
A dual Melbourne Cup winner in an era when that was almost unheard of, Peter Pan took out the great race in 1932 and again in 1934. A flashy chestnut with a flowing mane, he was one of the stars who carried racing through the Depression years.
