Black Caviar: a turf legend
Twenty-five starts, twenty-five wins. Black Caviar was the salmon-and-black phenomenon who never tasted defeat, a sprinter so dominant that the country stopped to watch her stroll to the line. Trained by Peter Moody and ridden by Luke Nolen, she won fifteen Group 1 races and carried the hopes of a nation to Royal Ascot, where she held on by a whisker in the Diamond Jubilee.
